1. Operator details

Ondely is a radio catalogue project based in Manchester, United Kingdom. These terms cover the use of its website and preparation tools.

Project name
Ondely
Location
Manchester, United Kingdom

Full operator identification, company registration and postal contact details will be provided before paid subscriptions open.

2. Scope of these terms

These terms describe the rules for consulting the Ondely presentation website and using its local preparation tools. The website introduces a radio catalogue, a broadcaster submission service and paid API plans.

The current website does not create accounts, accept station submissions, activate API access or sell subscriptions. Completing a form or selecting an API plan does not conclude a paid service agreement. These terms do not grant access to a live API.

3. Using the website

You may browse the website, follow official station links and use the preparation tools for a lawful project. Anyone preparing details on behalf of a station or organisation should have authority to represent it and provide accurate information.

Do not attempt to bypass access controls, introduce harmful software, interfere with the website or access information without permission. Do not use the website or its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.

4. Broadcaster preparation

The broadcaster form creates a text brief on your device. Downloading this brief does not send it to Ondely, register your station or confirm its inclusion in the catalogue. Keep the brief if you intend to submit your station when the service opens.

You should be the station owner or an authorised representative, and have permission to supply its name, logo, description and stream URL. Preparing a brief does not transfer ownership of your station, stream or branding.

5. API access and broadcasting rights

Ondely’s proposed paid API plans include the broadcasting rights to play stations from its catalogue within applications, as described on the website. These rights are included in the advertised plans; they do not transfer ownership of station brands or programming.

Using the website or its API examples does not activate a subscription, issue an API key or grant a live broadcasting licence. The JSON examples illustrate the intended response format and do not provide a functioning API endpoint.

Before live access becomes available, the service agreement must specify the chosen plan, applications covered, request allowance, activation date and commercial terms. API keys issued at launch must be kept confidential and used only for authorised applications.

6. Pricing and payments

The plans displayed on the website are proposed launch prices in euros, excluding VAT. There is no free API plan. The pricing page describes the intended monthly request allowances and application limits; viewing or selecting a plan does not place an order.

Payments are not available yet. The card fields are not connected to a payment provider; do not enter real card details. Nothing entered in those fields is sent or saved. The payment button remains unavailable, no payment is submitted and no amount is charged.

Prices, applicable taxes, payment arrangements, contract length, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions must be provided before any real subscription is accepted. No billing, renewal or cancellation obligation arises from browsing this website or using its local preparation tools.

7. Intellectual property and external links

The Ondely name, design and original website materials remain subject to the rights of their respective owners. Station names, logos and programmes belong to the relevant broadcasters or other rights holders. Their display here does not imply that they endorse Ondely.

You may save or print these terms for reference. Other reproduction or use of protected materials requires the relevant permission or a right provided by law. Links to official station websites lead to services operated under their own terms and privacy information.

8. Information entered into the tools

Project details entered into the current forms remain in the page’s browser memory and are not sent by those forms. The broadcaster brief is downloaded to your device. Closing a dialog retains its project draft until the page is reloaded; reloading clears that draft. Card field values remain only in those fields, are not read by the application, sent or saved, and are cleared when you return to project details, close the dialog or leave the page.

Requesting pages may involve the processing of technical connection and security information by the hosting and security services. These terms are not a privacy notice. A separate notice identifying the responsible operator, purposes, retention periods, rights and contact channel must be available before the live service collects personal information.

9. Availability and responsibility

This website provides information and preparation tools before the service opens. Pages, features and examples may change or be unavailable. No uptime guarantee, support response time or service-level commitment is offered through this website.

Check information relevant to your project before relying on it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any liability provisions for a paid service must be included in the applicable service agreement.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Ondely develops. The version and update date appear at the top of this page. Changes to a future paid agreement must follow the notice and acceptance arrangements in that agreement, rather than applying automatically to an existing subscription.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any mandatory protections, rights to bring proceedings or jurisdiction rules that apply to a user remain unaffected. These terms do not require users to give up rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

12. Contact and complaints

Direct support and legal correspondence are not available through the current website. Contact details will be published when the service opens.
